A dragon goes from city to city. "reducing construction with fire and ash, not far from one place to devastate not completely, leaving the smooth and charred earth. It is methodical, unpredictable and tireless.
I'm in the midst of a vast circle of land dark and smoky, may measure several kilometers. At first the dragon is a distant point in the sky, but slowly approaches the heights. Coming soon is just above, drawing a semicircle down elegant and calculated, its flight is slow and light. On landing in front of me, is completely black and immense. Measured a few hundred meters, but it moves with such precision that does not seem to disturb either the ground or myself, its wings do not generate more than a very slight breeze. Its huge, sharp drops his head and stares at me.
"Why destroy the world?" I wonder, sound, and thinking about words that sound neutral, with no trace any emotion or intent. The dragon stares at me and answer, even without words, "I do not destroy: I am drawing a map."
